The Lahore police said on Wednesday that they had arrested one of seven suspects behind the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team at the city’s Liberty Chowk on March 3.
Seven persons, including six policemen, were killed when the bus carrying the team from their hotel to the stadium was ambushed.
The team was being taken for the third day of the second Test against Pakistan.

It will cost more to play school sports next year and more high school athletes will have to find their own transportation to games.
The Everett School District is adding pay-to-play fees while the Edmonds and Shoreline school districts plan to raise fees already in place.
“This time around, with the significant cuts to school district budgets around the state, the only way we could keep our full middle-school and high-school programs would be to raise fees,” Everett School District athletic director Robert Polk said.

The Montana State football team bolstered its passing game and defense Friday with the addition of two junior-college transfers from California, wide receiver Julius Lloyd and safety Anthony Cosme.

“It’s a big day for us,” said Bobcat head coach Rob Ash. “We feel like these guys will really add talent to our roster.”
Cosme is a 6-foot, 210-pounder from Fullerton Junior College, where last fall he had 40 tackles and two interceptions. He is originally from Lakewood (Calif.) High.
“He’s a rover or strong safety,” said Ash. “Anthony is a real physical player and we like his versatility. He can play like a linebacker and tackle, but he’s also quick enough to play the deep third of field.”

“When I was an assistant coach in the Mid-American Conference, I remember that working different camps during the summer, particularly the Ohio State camp with (then-OSU recruiting coordinator) Bill Conley, was a great time for me,” Peterson said. “You got to mingle with and get to know all kinds of coaches from around the country, and you got to work with and evaluate mass numbers of football players.”
